Whether you are caring for an autistic loved one or are a neighbor ready to build a more inclusive world, the people behind this movement are Building Everyday Acceptance one act at a time.
The Rising Start has created this campaign as a community service to provide the tools and perspectives needed to move beyond awareness towards true acceptance.
Join us in celebrating the unique strengths of the neurodivergent community and explore how The Rising Start can help you get involved in making "inclusion" an everyday reality.”

Inclusion is not complicated.
It begins with patience.
It grows with empathy.
And it shows up in small, everday moments
You may not know autism. But you can choose understanding.
If you are at the restaurant and you see a child/young adult flapping their hands repeatedly, rocking or making repetitive sounds while waiting for food…
Don’t
Don’t stare.
Don’t whisper about “bad behavior.”
Don’t assume the parent isn’t correcting them.
Does
Understand this may be “self-regulation.”
Continue enjoying your meal normally.
