Stay “In The Know”

The May 2025 Newsletter announces the launch of two new entrepreneurial ventures led by our Rising Start young entrepreneurs.

The Rising Start “Collection” represents a portfolio of Rising Start Branded products and services specially designed and created by our student entrepreneurs for members of both our neurodivergent and neurotypical communities. The first line of products include natural scented candles, handmade greeting cards, hand painted floral vases and delicious “savory sweets” prepared by our Culinary Program Students.

The Rising Start Marketplace is a new retail concept operated by our student entrepreneurs targeting four sales channels:

• Mobile Marketplace

• TRS In-House Store Front

• Corporate Gifts

• E-Commerce

We launched and tested Mobile Marketplace at two outdoor/farmer’s markets during April where sales far exceeded our expectations. We are deeply grateful for the support of our community

The three remaining sales channels will be launched at the beginning of our 2025/2026 school year as part of our expanded Entrepreneurial Development Program. Stay tuned for more information on this newly expanded opportunity for students and young adults on the Autism Spectrum and related disabilities.
