The Rising Start After-School Program is not a traditional “after-care” option. It’s a safe, welcoming environment where neurodivergent students build confidence, social connection, and real-world skills through meaningful enrichment experiences—every afternoon.

Our Signature Enrichment Tracks

🎵 Music & Band
Discover the joy of music! Participants can learn to play instruments, join the TRS Afterschool Band, and develop rhythm, coordination, and auditory processing skills—all while having fun and performing together.

💡 Introduction to Entrepreneurship
Get a hands-on taste of The Rising Start’s Entrepreneurship Development Program!
Students take on “Maker/Marketer” roles, handcraft creative products, and learn customer service and teamwork skills that build independence and prepare them for future work experiences.

📚 Homework Helper
Academic support is available daily. Whether your student needs extra help or just a calm, focused space to complete assignments, our trained mentors are here to assist.

🤝 Life & Social Skills
Learn, laugh, and grow together. Every afternoon includes opportunities for building friendships, practicing communication, and developing confidence through structured social engagement.is is not a regular “after-care” program.
